OC Robotics exhibiting at Innovate '11 - October 11, 2011 in London
What we're exhibiting
In addition to the usual static displays and information posters, this year we will also be bringing along our demonstration hardware. This includes a 1.5m long, 100mm diameter, ten-segment snake-arm robot, pre-programmed with a variety of moves which it will be performing during the exhibition.
In addition to the hardware, we will also have Snake-Arm Simulator set up for you to try out. Snake-Arm Simulator is a free introduction to OC Robotics' snake-arm technology. Built on top of proprietary OC Robotics algorithms, Snake-Arm Simulator enables you to emulate the capabilities of snake-arms in simulated environments. If you don't want to wait until October to have a go, why not try it out now?
The exceptional ability of snake-arm robots to manoeuvre into otherwise inaccessible spaces makes them valuable in a vast number of applications in high-value industrial markets. Snake-arm robots do not need support from the environment, which means that they can navigate through an open space, avoiding obstacles, carrying tools and conducting work.
