Holiday placements
Each year OC Robotics takes on a number of people during the summer holiday period for 8-12 weeks. Students studying at degree level find this particularly worthwhile as they have the opportunity to develop good practical skills that will prove invaluable throughout any engineering career. The majority of people get involved in a project during their time with us, and gain a real insight into working in engineering.
Industrial Placements
The industrial placement opportunities at OC Robotics provide individuals with a year of career building experience. You will be working alongside very talented experienced engineers and will receive on-the-job training and work on real projects offering you real responsibility.

Nuclear
With the problems of radiation dosage and confined spaces, the nuclear industry is a clear beneficiary of snake-arm technology. That fact is borne out by the contracts won and snake-arms delivered by OC Robotics to its nuclear clients

OC Robotics is working with aerospace partners, focused on aircraft assembly, to develop a comprehensive toolkit for low access assembly tasks
