OC Robotics won the Queens Award for Enterprise: Innovation in 2009. The Queen's Award is the most prestigious business accolade in the UK. OC Robotics is among an elite group of winners recognised for outstanding success in their field.

OC Robotics won the British Engineering Excellence Award – Small Company of the Year 2010.

Rob Buckingham and Andrew Graham were jointly awarded the Royal Academy of Engineering's Silver Medal in 2009. This is the Academy’s top award for younger engineers (under 45!)

Founders Rob Buckingham and Andrew Graham were finalists in 2006 and runners-up in 2007 for the global IEEE/IFR Innovation and Entrepreneurship Awards.

OC Robotics was a MacRobert Award finalist in 2006. This is the Royal Academy of Engineering's top prize for engineering achievement.

In 2005 OC Robotics won the inaugural IEE (now the IET) Award for Innovation in Engineering in the robotics and control category. The IEE Innovation in Engineering Award recognised snake-arm robots as innovative, world beating products that are pushing boundaries in the international robotics market.

OC Robotics has won three SMART awards. SMART was a prestigious award scheme operated by the UK Government. OC Robotics has won collaborative R&D grants and has also won an Exceptional Development Award for the development of surgical snake-arms.
