History

OC Robotics was formed in 1997 and raised capital in 2001. The vision of the founding directors, Rob Buckingham and Andrew Graham, was to see innovative robotic systems become a commercial reality.

The company has come a long way since the first prototype was built in 2001. A decade later, the expanding company has successfully delivered robot-arms and associated products and services to partners and clients all over the world.

In addition to its commercial success, OC Robotics has won several awards including the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the Innovation category in 2009.

Continue to expand

In the next decade, it is expected that OC Robotics will to continue to expand its presence in the nuclear and aerospace sectors, but also see it develop its products for use in various new industries.
